34 weeks

We are so close! We finished our childbirth classes last night, and I'm officially nervous of the whole birthing process after three very graphic videos! :)


Thanks to my girlfriend, Michele, I feel prepared with a complete list of the "essentials" to pack for the hospital. I just bought my pink polk-a-dot Gownie so I will look bright and colorful amidst the drabby hospital walls...

I met with my Dr. again this week-- Baby King had a major growth spurt (which can explain why I'm famished!) and I gained another 3.5 pounds since my last visit, and am rolling into the 20 lb. arena at 22.5 pounds! Everything is still nice and normal. I'll be getting my Strep B test at my 36 week appointment, and then will start going to the Dr. every week 'til the end!


I'm so excited for my Northern California baby showers this weekend! I will post photos next week :)


Next weekend is our final attempt to finish getting the yard cleaned up and ready for spring. We are laying some new pavers in the back and are attempting to get our garden going before we get distracted with a baby.

We are still juggling with our girl name. Last night in our childbirth class we made another list...we are having a hard time pulling the trigger! We will wait and see.....!


I have exactly 19 more days left of work! HURRAY!
