August and September Re-Cap

Happy FALL!

You wouldn't believe it's fall up here- 100 degrees the past two days! Yikes! Good thing we have a beautiful pool to cool off in at Peg & Cliff's.

Grady Update: 6 ½ months

Was baptized on Aug 19th at Elim Lutheran....

Sleep

Grady is a tired boy by 5pm. He naps twice a day (one of the times with Scarlett so I have 2-3 hours of quiet!), and usually is in bed by 5:45/6pm and doesn't wake up until 6:45/7! We LOVE these good sleeping kids of ours!!

 

Eating

Rice cereal, carrots, butternut squash, pears, apples, green beans, plain yogurt, prunes, and bananas!

 

6 Month Checkup

Dr Lee was happy with our "moose" at his 6 month check-up!

18.6 lbs (76%)

27.5" (70%)

Perfectly proportionate! We are SURE he's gained more weight since he started solids :)

 

Everything Else

G is recovering from his 4th cold in the past 6 months. Each time resulting in a bad cough, so we are now owners of our own nebulizer machine. Lucky us. Now we have the okay to begin the pulmacort and albuteral at the onset of the cold to avoid wheezing and croup. Thankfully our little guy has a cheerful personality, so you would never know he's sick!

 

He is obsessed with Scarlett & Hazy, loves to reach for us when he wants to be picked up, has been saying "dadadadadada" all day long for the past 6 weeks, and is a happy guy! I'm liking this boy thing- mellow and happy! Maybe we will be lucky enough to have another someday just like him  :)

 

 

Scarlett Update: 29 months

Everything Else

Scarlett is such smart, witty, funny girl. She understands "joking" now, lovest to pretend, play with her friends, keep busy with preschool, music class, and ballet, and has requested to do karate class too! She adjusted with the move like a champ and loves having a huge playroom for her and Grady to explore. She is getting better at trying new foods, and ate 20 bites of salmon the other night (shock!). We love how sweet and gentle she is with Grady. Constantly kissing his foreheard or bringing him a toy. We can't believe next month she is 2 ½!! We are very thankful that she has been out of diapers for almost a year!

And us....

We said goodbye to our sweet Vallejo Street house last month. Our rental is "okay" but we are itching to buy our next place and have already lost out on two places we wrote offers on. Now we are just waiting for some more inventory to come on the market!

 

 

Jeremy and Peg also won "The Best of Sonoma County" realtor category and were honored at an awards ceremony last week! We celebrated with a fabulous dinner at Starks afterwards :)
