Well, our heatwave continues into November with an 80 degree day today! Nothing too exciting to report from us except for some fun pics from the pumpkin patch, Halloween, and our kids growing like weeds!
Grady 7.5 Months
Eating everything! Grady loves to feed himself puffs, yogurt melts, and cheese while we feed him purees. He is still sleeping like a champ at 12 hours a day and two naps. And, is still our sweet, happy, active boy who NEVER sits still (even during mealtime!). Our next ped appt isn't until 9 months, so no update on growth. As far as crawling goes, Grady is getting fast, although still belly flopping/army crawling. His #1 target is Hazel or Hazel's dog bowl :)
Scarlett, 2.5 years
She sings and dances all day long. We need to foster this creative energy and throw her into an acting troop! Scarlett is pure entertainment for Grady. Preschool and music class are the highlight of the week for her. Along with any Mimi/Boppy sightings of course. We spent all of October preparing for the "mask-ez" (masks) that would be everywhere- she became enthralled with them. Trick or treating was wet (yes, it drizzled then down poured!) and a little scary at first, but then Ms. Dramatic got the hang of it. She sang her heart out in her Orphan Annie costume and loved passing out candy at Mimi and Bop's later that night. Lastly, Scarlett is in her "big girl" bed now- so far the transition has been pretty easy! Yay!
J & E
House hunting, house hunting, house hunting, house hunting, house hunting.....And that's all! Oh, and getting ready for our upcoming weekend visiting the Brennans in Tahoe AND our 1 week excursion down to So Cal for Thanksgiving!
Sending lots of love and a hopes for wonderful November ahead!
