Happy New Year!

Well, we have been so busy with the holidays that I have neglected the blog!
Here is a photo montage of our November and December...

NOVEMBER...

We had a great Thanksgiving down in OC and spent lots of time with Nonni, Uncle Ev, Aunt Julie & Uncle Steve, Aunt Alina & Uncle Greg, Uncle Blake, Papa & Kathy, and all of my wonderful so cal friends.

DECEMBER.....

It was my first Xmas away from the Huefners. It was quiet & mellow. Lots of fun with Uncle "Coco" (Cody), spent the night at Mimi & Boppy's for Santa's arrival, Xmas parties, Larabee visit for the New Year, and lots of baking with Scarlett. Oh, and a big new car that seats 8!

GRADY....months 8, 9, 10!

The ever mellow boy is starting to throw baby tanturms. It's funny, he definitely know what he wants-- ALWAYS to get into something he's not supposed to! G is cruising on furniture, pushing the walker, and climbing up the stairs. His favorite time of the day is bath time, and post-bath naked playing in Scarlett's room. He's eating everything- purees, pieces of meat and cheese, crackers, etc. His favorites these days are sausage and cheese. Grady gave up the bottle in December and only takes a straw sippy cup, (of course) to be just like his big sis. His 9 month stats: 23 lbs. (90%), 28.5" length (65%), and head 18.5" (70%)- pretty much the same round body as Scarlett at that age. He can say Mama, Dada, Moo (What does a cow say?), can do peek a boo, clap, loves to play chase with Scarlett, and most favorite activity is throwing the ball for Hazy!

Scarlett....

Scarlett is becoming more like a little girl and less like a toddler every day. She surprises us with words like "actually" and  questions like "How does that work?" and "What does that mean?"
Her vocabulary and speech is incredible. She is loving preschool, music class, and playing with her brother. And her sharing skills with Grady are improving little by little :) Christmas was magical. She was purely delighted with Santa, baby Jesus and the manger, and all the decorations and treats that come along with it. She is excited for our upcoming trip to OC to play with all of Nonni's dollies (mine from childhood)!
First hot chocolate!

Practicing tracing her "S"

Modeling her "married" (Xmas) dress

Thumbs up

The ever constant "mommy"!

That's all from us! Wishing you a happy and fun-filled January!
